What is a “Restricted” Advisor?
As a Corpay One Advisor, you can choose to become a “Restricted” Advisor to make sure that staff on your Advisor account cannot approve documents on behalf of your clients, and at the same time make sure that staff cannot approve payments on behalf of the company.
Why become a “Restricted” Advisor?
The option to become a “Restricted” Advisor was developed to make sure that accountants and auditors using Corpay One comply with section 24 of the Danish Auditors Act (Revisorloven) and sections 1 and 6 of the Danish independence guidelines.
How do I become “Restricted”?
You cannot apply the restriction yourself – only Corpay One’s support team can do that. If you want to become “Restricted” or have the restriction removed, contact Corpay One’s support team via the chat in the app or by email at support@corpayone.com.
What does the restriction mean in practice?
There are two levels of restriction, and you choose which one you want. All restrictions apply to actions on your clients’ accounts in Corpay One.
Fully Restricted Advisor:
Staff cannot act as approvers in a workflow.
Staff cannot initiate payments (using the Pay now button).
Staff cannot assign other approvers manually.
Staff cannot delete documents.
Partially Restricted Advisor:
Staff cannot approve documents on their own, that is, as the only approver.
Staff cannot be the last approver in a workflow.
Staff cannot initiate payments (using the Pay now button).
Staff can assign other approvers manually, but not themselves.
Cannot edit the payment amount on documents.
Staff cannot delete documents.
