Requirements
To use accruals:
Your account must be connected to e-conomic.
Accruals must be enabled on your account AND your user.
Your role must be account owner, administrator, or accountant.
Check that accruals are available
When accruals are enabled, you can create an accrual directly from a bill.
Open a bill.
Click (...).
Check that Accrue appears in the menu.
If Accrue does not appear, accruals may not be enabled on the account.
Categories and posting
Each accrual requires a category.
The category determines which expense account the accrual is posted to.
Note
BETA solution:
Accruals are currently only supported with the e-conomic integration.
Other accounting integrations are not yet supported.
Chart of accounts:
When setting up in e-conomic, we recommend that you create a separate general ledger account on the balance sheet for accruals made through Corpay One. This helps ensure that the account only contains journal entries created by the system, which safeguards the basis of the account. If there are no manual entries on this account, the account can be reconciled 1:1 using the accruals overview.
