From your Advisor Dashboard, you can easily set the permissions for your staff, so that every user gets exactly the access they need. You do this with roles.
Below you can see how to assign a role to a user, what the different roles mean, and which permissions come with them.
How to assign a role to a user
1. Go to the Staff menu and click the user you want to set a role for. If you want to set the role for a user who has not been created yet, click the Add staff button in the top right corner:
2. Select the role you want in the What level of permissions should this staff member have drop-down, and click Save to continue:
The user's role has now been changed!
You can always change a user's role later.
If you add new staff by importing a CSV file, you can choose their roles right there, which makes it easy to set roles for a large number of users at once. Read more about this in this article under Create by importing a CSV file.
