How you as a Danish user can use our FX solution to pay internationally in foreign currencies.

If your account has not yet been verified to use the FX solution, you can read more in this article.

Adding an international vendor automatically

When you add a document to your Corpay One account, Corpay One automatically sets up your vendor to support international payments, if the information is available on the document.

If your document does not contain the necessary information, you have to update the vendor manually.

Adding an international vendor manually or updating an existing one

Go to Vendors in the left-hand side menu and click "Add vendor", or select the existing vendor you want to update from the list.

Enter your vendor’s details below:

  • Vendor name

  • Country

  • Address

  • Email address

Then select the FX card in the overview of available payment methods.

Enter your vendor’s details, including

  • Bank

  • The currency you want to send

  • The purpose of the payment to your vendor (for example goods, services or travel)

  • Start typing your vendor’s bank name and select the correct bank from the drop-down list - the bank address details are filled in automatically

  • The vendor’s SWIFT & IBAN/account number.

Review the information you entered and click the Save button. You are now ready to send your first international currency payment.

Overview of an international FX payment

Once you have added a bill that is to be paid internationally, you can see the international bill in your inbox and review the details.

You can adjust which amount is fixed - DKK or the destination currency - to control the amount that is sent or received.

If you fix a DKK amount, Corpay One debits you for the DKK payment amount, and we convert it to the equivalent amount in your vendor’s currency based on the exchange rate.

If you fix a foreign currency amount, Corpay One debits you for the DKK equivalent of the amount the vendor receives, based on the exchange rate. This option makes sure that your vendor receives an exact amount in their local currency.

The conversion rate is based on the market rate at the time your payment is initiated.
At the time the payment is initiated, exchange rates may differ from the estimated conversion rate shown.

Cancellation fees and conditions may apply. To learn more, see our terms of service.
