How to connect Corpay One to Aiia

An introduction to the steps you go through to connect Corpay One to Aiia.

What is Aiia and what can I use it for?

Aiia is an open API that lets you connect to your bank account.
This lets you see the balance of your payment methods in Corpay One, so you do not have to log in to your online bank to check the funds available on them.

Please note: The integration can only be used to display the balance on the connected account, not to make payments.

Because of a limitation at Aiia, one email address can only connect to Aiia on behalf of one company, on one platform. This means that you cannot connect Aiia in Corpay One with the same email address if you have already set up the connection in, for example, e-conomic. It also means that if you are a user on several companies in Corpay One, you cannot set up the connection on more than one company with the same email address.

How do I set up Aiia?

To connect Aiia to one of your payment methods, go to Settings - Payment method and click Add payment method in the top right corner.

Then choose to connect via Bank and then choose the connection via Aiia.

Please note that to complete the connection to Aiia, you must have the MitID that is linked to the company's payment methods.

A new tab then opens and forwards you to Aiia, where you are asked to enter a 6-digit verification code that is sent to your user's email address.
After that, you are asked to verify with MitID.

You are then shown the accounts that will be connected, and you can either connect more accounts or continue and give your final consent.

Once the setup is complete, balance data for your payment methods is pulled four times a day. You can see it in the following ways.

  1. Under your payment methods, where an Aiia icon indicates your connection to Aiia and the balance is shown next to each connected payment method.

Under your payment methods on invoices and in the drawer that shows your different payment methods.

Additional settings for Aiia users.

  • You can revoke your connection to Aiia at any time by going to Settings - Advanced and the Banks tab and clicking Cancel Aiia consent

  • If you have the Owner role, you can also decide which of your coworkers are able to see the balance on your Aiia-connected accounts.
Only the Owner role can grant this permission to an individual coworker.

You do this by going to Settings - Team and selecting the individual coworker you want to give access to, then ticking the permission called Allow user to see the balance on payment methods
