Get started with Corpay One

A series of short video guides that take you through setting up your Corpay One account, step by step.

Each video covers a key step in setting up your account.
You can follow the order from top to bottom, or jump straight to the section you need using the table of contents on the right.

1. Verify your user

Before you can get properly started with Corpay One, you need to verify your user.
This makes sure that your user is linked to the right company, and that payments and data are handled securely.

In this video we show:

  • How to confirm your email address

  • How to verify your phone number by SMS

  • How to complete ID verification with a passport, driver's license or other valid ID

💡 Note: If you have previously had access to another Corpay One account, you may be able to skip this step.

2. Add a payment method

To pay bills directly through Corpay One, you need to add your company's bank account.

How it works:

  • We support integrations with almost every Danish bank

  • Nordea uses Corporate Access Lite

  • Danske Bank uses District

  • All other banks connect via Bank Connect

Once the connection is set up, payments can be made automatically and securely straight from Corpay One.

💡 Note: Autopay is enabled on your account by default, which means that payments are initiated automatically on the due date. You can always turn Autopay off under Settings > Advanced > Payments > Autopay.

3. Connect your accounting system

Corpay One integrates with a wide range of accounting systems.
This makes sure that documents and payments are synchronized automatically, so you avoid double work.

In the video we show:

  • Where to find integrations under Settings → Integrations

  • How to set up the integration with e-conomic (as an example)

  • How data flows between the systems

💡 Tip: Make sure the integration is enabled before you upload documents.

4. Add coworkers

Once the account is ready, you can invite the relevant users to it.
There is no limit on the number of users.

Roles in Corpay One:

  • Account owner: Full permissions for everything

  • Administrator: Almost full permissions – can be customized

  • Contributor: Typically coworkers who only approve invoices or handle reimbursements

💡 Tip: Consider giving the customer the contributor role if you, as an Advisor, manage everything else.

5. Create your first workflow

Once everything else is done, you can build your first workflow!
Workflows are at the core of Corpay One. They define how documents move through approval and payment.

In this section we show:

  • How to create a workflow from scratch

  • How the logic of triggers and actions works

  • An example of the typical starting workflow: Fallback workflow

6. Explore the advanced settings

Once everything is set up, you can dive into the advanced settings to fine-tune your setup.

Here you'll find, among other things:

  • Options for vendor and workflow approval

  • Options for defining required information

  • Options for further automation

7. Upload your first document

You're now ready to upload your first document to Corpay One!
You have 3 options:

  • Upload a file (via web & app)

  • Add an invoice manually

  • Send an invoice by email (Send&Scan)

Read more about automatic forwarding via Send&Scan here.
