Our users trust us with their payments and company information, so naturally we take data and account security very seriously at Corpay One. That's why we've teamed up with Onfido to verify our users' identities before they get access to most of Corpay One's payment features. This way we can offer almost instant identity verification by taking you through a short series of easy steps.

There are two ways to complete identity verification: in the Corpay One web app and with the Corpay One app on your smartphone — but both are started from the web app. Both methods are described below.

Here's what you need to get started:

1. First, go to My Profile > Verifications, and click the arrow on the identity verification line:

2. Next, select the type of ID you want to verify with:

3. Now follow the instructions for uploading photos of your ID. You have the option of continuing the process on your smartphone by clicking Continue on phone, but you can easily continue in the web app by clicking or upload photo - no scans or photocopies at the bottom of the window:

4. When you have finished uploading your ID, you'll be told that the next step requires you to be filmed and recorded. Click Continue:

5. You may be asked to grant access to your webcam in order to continue.

6. You'll now be guided through a process where your face is filmed while you keep it inside the marked area. The recording consists of two steps, which are explained to you on screen:

Click the red button to start the recording, and click it again to stop the recording once you have completed the actions:

7. Once the recording is done, you're ready to continue!

Note: It typically takes between 30 seconds and 5 minutes for identity verification to be fully completed, but most often it takes less than 3 minutes. A green check mark appears on the identity verification line once the process is complete.

Here's what you need to get started:

4. You'll now see the instructions for how to get a secure link on your smartphone. Click Get secure link to see the three options:

5. The three ways to get the link on your smartphone are: QR code, SMS or a link you can paste into your mobile browser. Choose the method you prefer, and you'll be taken to an Onfido page on your smartphone:

6. Now complete the steps described on your phone. These steps include:

7. As soon as you have completed all the steps on your smartphone, this is automatically reflected in the window that is still open in the web app. Your identity verification is now complete:
