What is Send & Scan?

Learn what Send & Scan is and how to use it to receive your company's documents directly in Corpay One.

A Send & Scan address is a unique email address that you, your coworkers and your vendors can use to submit invoices, receipts and credit notes to your company's account in Corpay One.

When an email with an attachment in a valid file format (PDF, JPG and PNG) is sent to your Send & Scan address, Corpay One automatically processes that file in the same way as if you had uploaded it directly in Corpay One.

Your company actually has two Send & Scan addresses: one for invoices and credit notes ([yourcompanyname]@bills.corpayone.com) and one for receipts ([yourcompanyname@corpayone.com). The prefix, meaning the part before the @, is the same for both addresses.

  • You cannot create additional Send&Scan addresses.

You can see your company's Send & Scan address by going to Settings > Send & Scan. If you want, you can choose an email address that emails received at your Send & Scan address are forwarded to.

When is an image in an email not processed?

We have implemented a number of restrictions to make sure that email signatures in emails sent by you, your coworkers or your vendors are not processed as documents:

  1. If an image (JPG or PNG) is smaller than 70kb and embedded directly in the body of an email, it will not be processed. Such an image must be attached to the email in order to be processed.

  2. If an image attachment (JPG or PNG) is smaller than 120 pixels in its smallest dimension and smaller than 5kb in size, it will not be processed. You will still be able to see attachments in this category in the Email tab in Bill Pay.

What if a document is embedded in the email itself?
