Like Corpay One, Zapier was built to maximize your company's efficiency by eliminating the daily, manual tasks that eat up your time. Now Corpay One has teamed up with Zapier, so you can get the value of both at once: set up customizable "Zaps" (a bit like workflows in Corpay One) to send data from Corpay One to the other platforms your company uses - without any manual work!

Note: Corpay One's direct integrations with accounting systems like e-conomic, NAV SmartAPI, Dinero, Quickbooks and Xero are the best way to synchronize financial data, so you don't need Zapier to send data from Corpay One to these platforms.

With over 2,000 apps available in Zapier's library and fully customizable data pulls in every single Zap, the possibilities are almost endless. Although you can connect Corpay One to any app in Zapier's library, here are a few of our favorite use cases:

Here you can learn how to set up the integration between Corpay One and Zapier, and how to create a Zap for a typical use case: synchronizing data between Corpay One and a Google Sheets spreadsheet. Specifically, this is what we want to achieve:

The steps below explain how to set up this Zap in Corpay One. You can also set up the Zap directly from Zapier by clicking Make a Zap in the menu on the left side of the screen and then finding Corpay One in Zapier's library. If you choose that route, you can skip straight to step 4 below.

1. In Corpay One, first click Settings > Integrations in the left side menu.

2. Find the Zapier integration and click Learn more:

3. Now click Connect to start the integration setup itself:

4. If you are not already logged in to Zapier, you'll be asked to do so now:

4. Now you'll be sent to Zapier to create your Zap. Click Make A Zap in the top left corner:

5. Under "1. Trigger", select Corpay One in the Search Apps field:

6. Now choose a "Trigger Event" in Corpay One from the dropdown. In this example we use “Expense Added", which means the Zap is triggered every time a new document is added to Corpay One:

7. Click Continue, and you'll be asked to confirm which Corpay One company you want to use, and to run a test to make sure Zapier can access your data in Corpay One (that last step is optional). You'll also be asked to approve a list of permissions Zapier needs in order to access your data in Corpay One. Click Yes, Allow at the bottom to continue.

Then click Continue in Zapier to proceed:

8. Now you'll be asked to test the trigger you selected (that is, when a document is added to Corpay One) to make sure Zapier can connect correctly to Corpay One. Click Test trigger to start the test:

9. Now you'll be asked to specify the actions you want the Zap to perform when the trigger fires. In this example we enter Google Sheets in the Search Apps field and choose the action "Create Spreadsheet Row". When you select this action, you'll be asked to sign in to your Google account. Click Continue once you have done so:

10. For each action, specify which Google Sheets sheet the data should be sent to and which fields to fill in. Remember to make sure the Google Sheets sheet contains the necessary column headers so the data can be read in correctly (see this guide from Zapier if you are in doubt). Zapier will ask you to select data for each of the columns you created in the sheet (for example amount, vendor, due date and category). Click Continue once you have made a selection in every dropdown:

11. You'll now be asked to test the Zap so you can be sure it works as intended. Click Test & Continue to do so, and watch the sheet fill automatically with data from a document in Corpay One:

12. Now that the Zap is done, just click Turn on Zap to activate it, so that data from documents added to Corpay One in the future is added to Google Sheets automatically. You can always turn the Zap on and off from the Zaps page in Zapier:

Again, this is just one example of the countless Zaps you can set up between Corpay One and the other apps your company uses. Take a look at Zapier's help center for more details on how Zaps work and how they can create value for your company.

You can manage and edit your Zaps - including activating and deactivating them - from your Zapier account.

You can remove Corpay One under your connected apps ("Connected apps") in Zapier.

Right now we support one Zapier integration per user. This means that every user with administrator rights in Corpay One can set up a Zapier integration.

If you want to run a Zap that takes an update to a document in Corpay One into account, you can use the "... updated" trigger events in Zapier.
